First off, Congratulations on getting married! I haven't checked the rest of the forum for happy news, but it's good to hear of a fellow 'nidophile expanding the genepool

Fantastic work on your harridian, Gareth! I've been looking forward to seeing this beast finished for a while, worth the wait it was. Talk like yoda I do.

Stunning work on the massive wings, I can see that your airbrush is getting it's full worth and work. At first I was wondering why we didn't see something similar to the membranous wings on your flying tyrant (the sculpt seems to suggest stretched ligaments/tissue), then I remembered just how much surface the wings had. Yeeah....

I did think that the purple on the gun/sacks could have been highlighted a tad more, similar but less than what you did for the gums and inner tail. It might have been your intention to establish the difference in the tissues, but the ribs and legs have purple tissue similar to the guns, so its a bit confusing.

Honestly, though, I really don't want to nag on this beast. It looks great and is one of my favorite 'nids. Bravo!

I think variety of tones and colours for organic creatures is spot on, too much uniformity and its doesn't look natural. So I'm happy with the varying shades. Plus the cannon sacs were painted deliberately darker as they're underneath the wing. In shade.

Well it should be Terry the Trygon. But I'm putting that on hold while I sort out my UMs for 5th edition and apocalypse. Got 70 marines to paint over 3 months.

Wow,really incredible stuff,Gareth!
I love the colours on that beast,they all work so well together.
Especially the green/yellow spots on the black carapace.

The base is brilliant as well.I've always been impressed by your bases and they have inspired me to try harder with bases myself,which i usually neglect.
