Okay, for various reasons you have all ended up in a prison on a small planet called Markane IV. It begins...
You are all in the same cell together, but have never really talked enough to get to know each other, not even knowing the names of the others. You don't know how the others got here either.
After some years in there, you suddenly hear an ear-splitting alarm go off and watch in fascination as the guards run off with their guns. You can just barely see the door when it explodes. What happens next is an intense firefight between the guards and gigantic behemoths wearing heavy black armour. You instinctively crawl back from the door and the firefight, and a sudden explosion on the lock causes it to be destroyed. A couple of minutes later, there is nothing left of the guardsmen, and the behemoths have moved on, completely ignoring you. 7 dead guards, 0 dead big ones. You exit the cell. The hallway is laced with blood and weapons from the dead guards. In one direction, there's the blown open door the behemoths entered from, and another where they exited. There are enough rifles from the guards to go around for all of you.
