Battle Fleet Gothic.
It's a warship game where you use fleets of ships to fight in space (rubble and trees in this game theres asteroid fields and planets).

all the major armys have their own fleets.

Look under specialist games on the Games Workshop website. The online store also has this section so you can see the fleets. Every race in Warhammer 40K has a corresponding fleet in Battlefleet Gothic.

Thlaylie, damm thats one big battle ship you got there. I was going to build a ship that size as well but was going to after I built my entire fleet up. That way I will have spare parts plus I can make it bigger than anything else I got.

Though one must remember that GW are discontinuing the SG range, including BFG, because of their money problems. So buying models up now is a good idea to do.

Discounted!! BFG you say..might be time to buy in my SM fleet at the same time as Tyranid.

Anyways heres the start to my Main ship I'm going to use for BFG games. Its gonna be fairly big it might end up bigger than my SM battle barge.

wow, all those ships look AMAZING!!! I have just very recently gotten into BFG, and by recently I mean that the rulebook/codexes have not even been on my hard drive for more than a week. I (sadly) haven't even gotten to play a game yet. No one in my area plays 40k, let alone BFG. I'm workin on my brother, but untill then It's just me and my buggy little 'nids. You have inspired me to use up all those extra bits (aka... devourers) and other spare 'nid parts. Kudos to everyone for making your fleets look so amazing. You inspire the N00Bs out there like myself to actually work on building a fleet.

I do have a question for you all however. Where do you get your models? I can't seem to find anywhere off the GW websites that sell them. In particular, where did "thlaylie" get his hive ship? i play 'nids too and am considering making a hive fleet.

Math: Good looking ship so far, hate to burst your bubble here though but BFG is getting dicontinued not discounted, although they may discount it to get rid of it all.

You could have not shown me those metal models, told me you converted some spare bits, and I would've believed you... but seriously they should make more flying 'nids for 40k, all we have in the normal range is gargoyles.....

how do you know that it's being discontinued? That would be a crying shame. i love the idea of BFG. Almost like old-fashioned naval warfare, where lumbering ships face off, trying to get in just the right position to broadside the other. it's an awesome way of fighting, where you don't chase each other around in what seems like a fatal follow the leader game, shooting at one another from prow mounted weapons. Rather, your skin begins to crawl when you see that battle cruiser ahead of you slowly swing around, bringing the full power of it's port/starboard weapons to bear. Anyway, just curious where you heard that it's being discontinued.

GW is slowly getting rid of specialist games (inquisitor, bfg, blood bowl etc) I guess they just think there is more money in 40k, fantasy an lotr. I remember when inquisitor came out here in oz and I believe the products were only on the shelf for a few months before they made them available online only.

Well thats what I have heard anyway.
