List seems nice, just some random tips: fill a detachment, we can get great value from CPs; I don't like the actual setup of the tyrant, I can't get exactly his role inside this list(maybe I'm just missing it, explain your reasons!),strag cannon doesn't look so good, maybe drop it for a HVC;think about pyrovores, they were terrible In previous codex but right now in Yormg lists tunneling with raveners they can just ds and load up Dat 10"range flamers and maybe survive thx to the Yormg save. Hope u can get some ideas from this! Mainly just test and try to understand what is working well for u, maybe write reports so we can keep in brainstorming with more information!

The Tyrant is more there to fill. Any ideas what to put instead would be appreciated (or new gear for the tyrant). Also how would the pyrovores tunnel? Little confused, sorry.

Thoughts:

1. Drop the terv: I'm not really a fan of tervs in general. But with only 1 gaunt blob...you're paying 250 pts to support a 120 pt unit. And it doesn't help if the gaunt squad gets wiped (only 1k...but 20 gaunts isn't hard to kill and a terv really encourages focus fire). And also doesn't really give much of an offensive boost. So...I'd just recommend taking another squad of gaunts (or whatever takes your fancy) and a neuro for the HQ slot.

2. Take another unit of troops for the battalion: even just 33 pts for a min ripper squad.

A flying hive tyrant . Movement is really good: easily worth the points. As for load out...monstrous rending claws (and toxin for the rerolls for 6s against tough targets) is a pretty good weapon instead of the scy tals (free and rerolls to wound puts it ahead of single scy tals against most targets), and either heavy venom cannon (for anti-tank) or devs (for anti infantry at close range) instead of stranglethorn. Stranglethorn pays a hefty price for range: costs more and lower output. Double devs or devs/HVC is also good for some pure shooting.

Also how would the pyrovores tunnel?

If you take Jormungandr as your fleet, you can use their stratagem to deploy any infantry unit within 3" of a ravener unit that arrived from reserve this turn.

If you go with the Tervigon. i would take more units of termagaunts and drop the warriors
Exocrine are oke but hyve guard are better .
ravangers are cheap way to Deep strike a unit but 3 ravangers are not going to do a lot ...
trygon gives you abit more mussel but is more expensive and can deep strike 2 units if you go jormungundr
