Pinning termagants to resin bases?

Hey guys,
recently come across some very cheap resin bases (secret weapon alien and urban invasion bases) from a friend of mixed sizes.
ive got bases enough for a few monstrous creatures ( hopefully my trygon and tyrranofex ive got coming ) and roughly 30 small infantry bases. I'm using aroubd 20 urban invasion bases for my genestealers and have around 20/25 of the alien invasion ones im planning on putting my devgants on who will usually follow my trygon in for some screen clearing
just windering if you guys have ever had experience basing termagants in resin and if you think i will need to pin them to the base or just some superglue?

I don't think pinning will be necessary. But I'd tend to go one option above superglue and use two part epoxy glue. One I use is called aryldyte and I use the 5 minute set time one.
Slightly more troublesome than superglue but way way stronger. Far less trouble than pinning.

i've heard of aryldyte before actually, never thought about using that, will look into it.
Do you have to hold them in place while the glue sets or will it hold itself while it dries?

Yeah, the stuff does take a while to set so miniatures will need to be supported. If you're planning to base them all enmass I'd suggest setting up a foam or cardboard rig in a box that you can place a handful of bases in lay down a bit of glue and add gaunt with support to stand unheld.
Will save a heap of time.

Alternatively, give a couple of minutes for glue to soft cure before placing gaunt. That will take a little practice if your first time using it.

Great, thanks for the advice! I found some aryldyte in my dads garage so once my devilgants are built i'll start basing em up. If i fogure out how i'll stick some photos on here once theyre all done

Use Imgur or another external photo host for images then you can display them directly here. From memory there's a pinned thread on how to post photos in the painting section.
