Tau vespid stingwings... they're good now?

So I'm a bug lover. I've got 5000 points in my swarm.
But I also have a tau force of around 2000 which includes some converted vespid sting wings. But they were painfully bad in 7th edition and previous.
But now they seem viable.
15p each 14" movement, assault 2 S5 ap-2 d1
Has anyone got any experience with the new stat line for these guys, I'd love to get some use out of them.

I've only played vs Tau once a few years back, but this should have all you want/need on things. Their 8th post is pretty long with some great break-downs of units and a nice chart of 7th:8th costs and simple analysis.

I played as my little brothers tau a few days ago against marines, and really liked them. They handily out firefight marines, and can be deep striked into winning match ups, then are fast enough to withdraw if the enemy moves against them (all the while drawing the enemy away from the main tau force). Being able to fly makes them nigh on impossible to tie down, and their guns can put a dent in a land raider (6 can expect 1 wound per turn). Drop them 17.1" from terminators for hilarity, because the terminators cannot get within rapid fire range.

All in all, great value for 2pt more than a smurf.
