How do you like this? From Tyranid607 on Dakka. *edit* Wow, my explanation for the 5++ is correct almost. They are fast and nimble. Below that post is the Mugus in with data sheet if you can find Davor.

3 Base attacks and option to add scything talons? Shucks-howdy. I hope enough survive to strike at I1 after assaulting through cover. There is ways around that in he codex.

Assuming you're talking about the stealer one, it has been (might've been in the other thread), and was too blurry to properly read, but you could see the table and the 1 patty+1 purestrain. Yeah I had seen that, but it's hard to make out the specifics due to grainyness of the image. Waiting on the clear pic

It's neither - it's an elite choice (see the 'cross' top left - if it was a formation, it'd be 3 skulls. Troops is a triangle). Though it can be taken in the formation mentioned before with patty+max brood I'm pretty sure it was. Thanks. I'm not yet familiar with the icons & honestly didn't even think to look for that. Good to know 3 skulls is the one for formations. Post the 'first curse' (I think that's the one) formation already you guys jeez..... jks, you guys posting stuff are doing an awesome job Info for the first curse is on the 1st page. The info is from the same guy that posted the genestealer data sheet, so it is likely legit.

Here you go.
The First Curse formation does the following; 1 Patriarch, 1 Purestrain Genestealer unit, you roll a D6 before the start of the game and add the result to the Purestrain Genestealers for the whole game; 1: they get assault grenades, 2: they get 4+ armor, 3: they get Poisoned melee attacks, 4: they get Rage, 5: they get Preferred Enemy, 6: you pick which one you want.

Again from Tyranid607 on dakka. No worries. With the relic you get 4 powers including primus for 85 point-ish. That's not to bad at all.

The core choice that has this gets a huge buff going up to 24" instaed of 12". That's a really nice bubble. The relic for it is nice too.

Ummm, guys? Who wants to bet we're still AoC:
? Thinking just subterranean uprising (because that 3 dice with primus should be pretty good) and patty in CAD/First Curse for fearless is likely the way to go (at least with nids). Definitely how I'm thinking of running things.

Metamorphs can take a "scythe" that increases their WS? Take two for +2WS?!? What is that psuedo 5th edition Scything Talon rule but we get practically useless cc weapons?!?

Flesh hooks still let you shoot S:user Assault:2 AP:- 6" with them? Saw one result on the stealer first curse formation that gave flesh hooks.

No, looks like a special rule of the same name with different effects. Presumably because they didn't have something to swap the name with like they did with toxin glands/poison sacs (to give similar but altered rules)
