Imagine the next Codex was perfect for the army list you wanted to deploy.
In your ideal world, what army list would you like to deploy and why do you like that aesthetic for your list?
Do you favour fluffy composition of the army or do you like a particular playstyle, or both or other?

Please avoid quoting rules or changes required to make your list possible. Just pretend the Codex enables you to do what you want.

I am interested in, what is your vision of a Tyranid list, regardless of the rules.

Here is my list, I like the swarm playstyle, controlled by T4 Warriors and the occasional Monstrous creature to add some punch and dramatic effect.

Imagine the final battle for Minas Tirith in The Lord of the Rings. Massive infantry armies, with the odd dramatic climax provided by Oliphants and Winged Nazgul. But all in the Sci-fi aethetic the bugs from Starship Trooper. Where as the Genestealers provide the stealthy horror of the Geiger Xenos in Aliens movie.

I want what Khorne Demonkin got. Powerful and still fluffy army wide special rules. My preferable playstyle is to put hard and fast pressure on my opponent and stress them to mistakes. I think Tyranids should do exactly that - put fear in the opponent.

Our rules should allow for a fast, unstoppable army that beats you in close combat and grows stronger over time. Model wise I like Raveners, Warriors, Hormagaunts, Lictors, Trygons.

I also would like Dimachaeron and Malanthrope to be added to the codex, so they would be allowed in our tournaments.

I do prefer the swarm playstyle.

Think that the general guants should be mkre effective in synapse....

- hormaguants ignore IV penalty for charging in cover
- Termagaunts have a slightly longer range fir their weapons
- Gargoyals don't scatter as much if DS

Also think that HQ shud be able to protect themselves with these expendable swarm units

I love using those units as they look incredible on the table...sadly their performance is rarely of the same caliber. Mostly I just want to use my Swarmlord so very badly.
