Whatever we get, chances are we get worse, not better. Thank god for the addition of flyers to the game. Can you even imagine how bad our codex would be with only jump MC flyrants, especially now since the Tervigon got punted in the baby sacks?

Is this forum basically going through deep space now, waiting to 'get there' We can't even hibernate like nids, no wonder we are pissed off when we reach the other side. I mean, what do nids do for 1000s of years in interstellar space? Talk about their rules sets probably and about how great tl devourers were.
'Hormagaunt 7809 do you remember the time when our army DIDNT have these sweet bio guns? I mean, how did our species survive'!'
'I'm not sure Hormagaunt 7808, but I haven't seen genestealers in like.. Centuries, where did they all go?'
'They used to be really popular, until they started to malfunction, I guess they became pretty useless, they used to be able to hide and kill people from the shadows, but the hive mind returned them to the big bio mass in the sky when they just used to run out in the middle of the open and shout at the enemy, I dunno, maybe they'd just had enough, or wanted extra arms or something. I think they got zoated tbh'

I want to correct you guys with fluff examples, but that would take time away from XCOM 2. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to deal with this muton. A nid chryssalid would be so awesome.... Oh dear god. What if genestealers had the Ovipositer special rule Any model they attack in melee has to roll a D6. On a 4+, the model is fine. On a 3 or less, the model is killed and replaced with genestealers.

I was chuckling to myself as I was writing it, you'd think at least the hive tyrants wondered where all their best killers went to, they are semi sentient! 'Hive mind.. Give me back my (not retarded) gene stealers!!'

Until the design studio is no longer full of imperial bumboys that get a hard on at the thought of space marines killing tyranids en-masse, we will never get a balanced, semi-competitive codex.

He sows misinformation to destabilize society Are you insinuating he is, in fact, a genestealer? He's a 7th ed. genestealer doing deep web infiltration

On a 3 or less, the model is killed and replaced with genestealers. On a 3 or less, the model is replaced with a Hybrid which has, for all its stats (purestrain genestealer stat + target stat) / 2, rounded up. If the target is a psyker, roll a D6. On a 4+ it retains one of its (randomly selected) psychic powers, on a 6+ it retains all its psychic powers.

I don't want cult add-ons. I want useful cc units and actual mid-long range shooting options that don't use my patience as a guideline for usefulness :/

"If" this is a real thing, it will (should) not be an add on. Unless they are stark raving bonkers (entirely possible) then it should be at least something to stand on it's own. GS cults are not at all part of mainstream tyranids as they currently are.
I want a flying limo with a giant twinlinked D multiple pieplate weapon because reasons...
I hope if they are to reintroduce the cult to the current edition then I hope they do it justice in all it's quirkiness and cheekiness that originally was conceived (am so expecting to be heavily burned assuming it's real).

Unless they are stark raving bonkers (entirely possible) I fear this is the most relevant topic regarding this Why do we have hive guards? Tyranid warriors should just be given the options to fill their roles Why did they get rid of Doom of Malanthai in 6th ed? ...and then reintroduce it through FW Why are tyranids so bad at CC? Why can cultists swarm better than termagants? ...entirely
