Advice on my next unit to buy.

1 trygon prime
1 tyranofex
Edit:3 carnifex
Edit:2 hive tyrant
1 hive crone
4 ripper swarms
3 spore mines
Edit: 1 exocrine
Edit: 3 warriors
And that's it. What would be a good buy next? From a semi competative list not spamming hive tyrants.

Maybe some Carnifexes and Venomthropes? What does the rest of the Hive think?

Carnifexes I would say too they are great with the forge world twin linked devs.....personally buy malanthrope instead of venomthropes mate

Damn I knew I forgot something. I have a carnifex so maybe two more?

I like the idea of warriors but we'll everyone says they die super easy to a lot. They seem expensive to die like that.

I have three carnifexes myself but only use two really. Warriors are only cool to added for purposes of formation tax, usually cheap with barbed strangler is best.... I put on rending claws and deathspitters on mine too thou.

what do you think of the mawloc? Maybe buy two of those? They are fun to play and lovely to build paint..TERROR from the DEEP is awesome rule.

The toxicrene honestly surprised me in a friendly game I proxied a tyranofex for one. They drastically underestimate it or confuse it for a custom venomthroape
I told them what it was. It seems like other armies don't really get to know ours well.

2nd hive tyrant pretty much before all other considerations. two is not spamming, it's pretty much the bare minimum.

I know lol but a few people around here have recommended 5 of them before lol. Also that sounds epic how hard did the other guys jaw drop?

it's an extreme approach, but it's nasty. just be aware of how/when you can score (i.e. flyrants have to drop down to score, so you have the consideration of often wanting to go last, but having no obsec troops to contest) and often relies on killing the other guy's scoring units. problems being with battle company marines, that's never going to happen. i can't speak too much for it though because i've never played with more than 3 flyrants. 3 seems like a good sweet spot, though i'd like to try 3 + a terv or 4 + a terv (HQ terv, because the troop is $$$points).

anyway, 2 is pretty much bare minimum/low points for flyrant. you really do want at least 3 in a serious list.

prime is pretty much 100% butt. just costs too much.

Ive removed this post because its just me saying the sporocyst is half decent, luckily I havent gone completely insane, the pyrovore is still useless to me.
