Could Tervigons Make a Comeback?

With the increase in super heavies, D weapons and overpowered formations making it very difficult to compete head in with many armies a lot of players are turning to MSU to counter this. 

The lictor shame list is now pretty famous having won a couple of big tournaments and is a very good MSU list in the right hands.

I am starting to wonder if a Tervigon list could make a comeback as an MSU list as they are an MSU pumping machines after all... a couple of sample lists could like look like this;

I love using Tervigons personally, and it usually pays off in most of my games. Just the ability to make more Gants and gain board dominance is huge in a lot of my games. Plus the off chance you get Catalyst or another decent power is a boost too.

They are a little over priced, but if they just dropped its points by like 25 or 35 points and kept stats the same, it would be so much better.

The risk will always be that the heavy/D fire goes into the Terv and kills the little ones through backlash or later IB. Gaunts are so reliant on synapse compared to our other msu options.

Tervigons are pretty handy, especially since they can poop out exactly the kind of MSU broods that Tyranids need. I feel like Trygons and Endless Swarms do it better though.

I think the problem with Tervigons in an MSU list, rather than carrying back-up for a more monster-y list, is that they're not MSUs. They're about the cost of 3-4 MSUs, and they're only about ~2 units themselves, one of which is worth 40pts on average.

A Tärvigon in a more general list? Totally feasible.

A Tärvigon-centric list? Not really viable anymore, as a general thing. They got bumped up too much in price and nerfed too hard, and a list can absorb the extra "tax" overpricing of one, but at several, it just takes away too much

I'd give a 4th HQ terv a run for sure (probably in a pod). As a troop w/ 30 Gant tax? No.

well you could put the other HQ tervigon in a pod anyways. no tervigon on thet field T1, then BAM instant horde. saves a ton of set-up time I guess.
