Hey everyone... I am preparing for the American Team Championship coming up at the end of July in Chattanooga, TN. I've been working on a list for the event and am now trying to finalize its many variations.
I am going to present 3 lists and then hopefully get a discussion going that will help me fine tune and tweak these lists to the best one for the event.
ATC allows 2 Detachments max and only one of those can be a CAD. NO REPEATED DETACHMENTS (no double Skyblight, no double Hive Fleet, etc.) Forgeworld and Super Heavy/Gargantuan creatures are not allowed outside of what's in the codex (Imperial Knights & WraithKnights are currently allowed)
I've gotten some good games in with a couple of these versions. I don't have all of the models to field them all, but I could either borrow or buy/build them if I settle on an especially good feeling list.
List #1: 1850
Hive Fleet:
Flyrant (Dakka, Haywire, Fighter Ace) - 275
Flyrant (Dakka, Haywire) - 240
3 x 1 Mucolid Spore - 15 x 3
2 x Mawloc - 140 x 2
Venomthrope - 45
2 x Lictor - 50 x 2
Skyblight Swarm:
Flyrant (Dakka, Haywire) - 240
Hive Crone - 155
2 x Harpy (Stinger Salvo) - 145 x 2
3 x 10 Gargoyles - 60 x 3
List #2: 1850
Hive Fleet:
Flyrant (Dakka, Haywire) - 240
Flyrant (Dakka, Haywire) - 240
3 x 1 Mucolid Spore - 15 x 3
1 x 3 Spore Mines - 15
3 x Mawloc - 140 x 3
Venomthrope - 45
Skyblight Swarm:
Flyrant (Dakka, Haywire) - 240
Hive Crone - 155
2 x Harpy - 135 x 2
3 x 10 Gargoyles - 60 x 3
List #3: 1850
Hive Fleet:
Flyrant (Dakka, Haywire, Fighter Ace) - 275
Flyrant (Dakka, Haywire) - 240
Flyrant (Dakka, Haywire) - 240
Hive Crone - 155
3 x 1 Mucolid Spore - 15 x 3
1 x Venomthrope - 45
Skyblight Swarm:
Flyrant (Dakka, Haywire) - 240
Hive Crone - 155
2 x Harpy (1 x HVC) - 135, 140
3 x 10 Gargoyles - 60 x 3
The mission pack for the ATC is 6 Games, and it's a team challenge. The goal is to collect as many battle points as possible for your team over the 6 games. You are paired against the other team and there is a chance to create favorable matchups in the pairing process. My team has Eldar, Drop Pod Marines, Grey Knights, Tau and Me.
Half of the missions are Kill Point based and the other half are Objective based.
