Toouae - my plog, first time with green stuff.

Evening gents,

Here's some pictures of my hive fleet Toouae (fluff in the making) in my army list thread says the points value of the army. So close to completing all 1000 in painting! Excited times and an army shot to follow once done.











Then with my hive tyrant today I decided to chop off my daemon princes wings and stick them on to make him a flyrant! Plus green stuffed for the first time ever so don't dis! Haha

Slow progress. Finally modelled the hive guard models, awaiting a zoanthrope for the tournament.

Painted the hive tyrants wings though! Not chuffed with the finish on it but it will do for the tournament then the whole army will get a revamp.

I like it all besides the genestealers. The human flesh color is creepy. Great, smooth skin tone, but creepy. Reminds me of genestealer cult armies from days of yore. Look like naked mutant babies.

nice budget flyrant! but you really need to put him on a 60mm base, elsewise folks will squawk. if you bring him to a tourney, they're liable to seriously frown on it not being on the correct base size.

As for the genestealers, that's the tone I wanted them to have haha. I'm sorry you don't like them haha.

But yes! 60mm base will have to be ordered in time for the tourney. My pal was saying lastnight that people won't like it. Even though in my eyes there's no harm haha.

Unless that particular model was originally sold with that sized base?

New base ordered for the tyrant and I think il use the space marine bits from the hive guard kit to decorate slightly haha.

Almost been a month since an update, afraid to say not much has happened. Few games in here and there but that's it.
But....
60mm base for my flyrant came!


And a final genestealer was painted up to complete the 8 man unit
