Giant Chaos Spawn - Anyone else jealous??

I've been reading through some Apoc stuff and came across this guy for chaos marines.

Ws4,s6,t6, 4w, 2+d6 attacks on a 4+save mc... For a measly 80 points!

I wish the hauraspex was identical to this (it's also an elite), it would be an auto take if it was.

These are mint. Decent initiative aswell. I'm glad haruspex is different but I'd happily take a ghetto MC like this for 80pts.

Yeah, I definitely need to make a few of these, since I've got a Spawn-heavy Chaos List.

Looks sweet, i hope this will help set a new paradigm for beefier looking close quarter MCs (Haruspex and Carnifex respectively) to have higher weapon skills, sweet melee perks and a more reasonable point cost in the future. One can dream..one can dream.

I doubt it, unfortunately. These things predate our current Dex by a good while, and we got what we got anyhow
