Painting a Leviathan Barbed Hierodule- looking for input

Greetings Hive,

I am going to tackle my barbed Hierodule for Renegade open in November. My color scheme is leviathan. Does anyone have any examples of some painted Leviathan Hierodules that they know of? Trying to get a good frame to kick this bad boy off. Man does the model look great!

This belongs to my buddy, not me. He's brought it to every tourney here since escalation has been allowed, except one I believe (where he brought a Scythed).

thanks man, I was on the fence with what color to paint the biocannons. I like the red, I think i'll do that with the nuln oil wash like he seems to have done and then highlight with the little bit of orange like the exocrine has.

Cool is still cool, yours or not. :-) Keen to see what BeeCee comes up with. From the blog, the Art Node stuff he had painted was looking pretty good. <subtle encouragement to get painting>
In the interest of contributing rather then just commenting - BeeCee, not sure if it would work or how far along you are, but have you considered inverting the color scheme for your big bug compared to your other critters? Can be a decent way for it to stand out but still be coherent with other elements. Just a thought. Cheers!
