Tyrant, Wings
+ 2 Devourer

*************** 3 Heavy ***************
1 Biovore

1 Biovore

1 Biovore

good against most stuff, most importantly deals with markerlights, fire warriors, eldar stuff, can sniper, can stay out of trouble
*************** 1 Fortification***************
Imperial Bastion
- – - > 75 P
venomtrophe is in here, tyrant behind, is a good LOS blocker and keeps the army tanky.
Tyranids : 1850
When you follow the link there's a 38min podcast, but I'm gonna summarize it quickly
He talks about his usage of the army and why he chose is to be the way it is.
Though 2 Dakkaflyrants might seem awesomelicious, once they face a shooty army like tau or eldar and are probably going to die to grounding. The army focusses more on the bastion synergy. The whole army tries to sty within the venomtrophe range while being in area terrain too. So put your bastion next to some forests or ruins to get a 3+ or 2 + save. Biovores and other shooting stuff get rid of markerlights and try to outhin anything with ignore cover.
The whole army is designed to win via objectives and bodycount. The actual meta is filled with manby S7 shots so avoid giving those shots a good aim. Even warriors are a good consideration right now since S8 is pretty rare.
The podcast shows really good that our nids are not bad at all, but a lot of people wont like his play style since its not uberagressive and CC-oriented as people would like it to be. I will test some of the stuff out if I find the time to do so. What do you think? You like it?
