not as practically because you couldnt get as close and they are worse in cc but yea generally.

The other issue being that if they get fired on and take a test, they're much more likely to fall back. They'll rally as soon as the hit the synapse of course, but it slows them down/makes them go backward. Could kinda depend on how you use them, but if they're partly used as a screen/distraction, if you run them just out of Synapse in turn 2, then go to ground if fired on, it would certainly make them more resilient. Interesting thought - something that could be worth trying.

I'll give it a try after the tournament. You know... when prizes aren't on the line and what-not.

Got 3rd place, but only just barely. Out of 3 matches, I lost 2 and tied 1.

It was the victory points that pulled my rear out of the fire. While I may not have won the actual games, I had alot of fun doing the bonus victory point missions, such as hunting down the enemy warlord with my own warlord (The Swarmlord)

That guy is a wrecking ball when he gets into close combat.


It made me see that if i'm gonna be running Swarmlord on a regular basis, I need to rethink my lists and maybe get a few new models.
