hey all, just yesterday me and my friend got together for a game and man did we put up a good game. The lists were as follows:
Space Marines - 1500pts
Librarian
tactical squad - rhino transport
tactical squad - rhino transport

assault squad - 5 man
dev. squad - 10 man
Eldar - 1500pts
farseer
guardian squad - weapons platform
guardian squad - weapons platform
dire avengers - wave serpent transport

dark reapers squad
We played a game, deployment type pitched battle (I think), and game type was capture and control with 3 objectives.

Top of turn #2
Objectives owned: Space Marines: 1 Eldar: 0
Results of turn #1: The marines went first and moved all units up the field with the assault marines in a mad charge towards the eldar front lines. The librarian used the Gate of Infinity psychic power and moved 24 inches across the board to assault a guardian squad, win combat and destroy the squad in a sweeping advance. The devastators fired on the front line and wrecked a wave serpent. The other units able to fire shot at the dark reapers and killed all but the exaurch and joined farseer. The eldar focused their fire on the assault marines and killed one squad and half the other squad. The rhinos were protected from deploying a smoke screen. Also the librarian was killed by a war walker with a bright lance.

Objectives owned: Space Marines: 3 Eldar: 0
Results of turn #2: the rhinos continued to move up the field to have the tactical squads disembark to capture the objectives, the on foot tac squad moves to capture the third. In the shooting phase an eldar war walker is immobilized and the reaper exaurch is killed leaving only the farseer who receives a wound. The last assault marines jump the chasm and assault the last guardian squad, win combat and destroy the squad in a sweeping advance. The assault squad is then killed by dire avengers. The eldar then shoot and kill 3 marines from the dev squad. And move up the field with their wave serpents.

Objectives owned: Space Marines: 2 Eldar: 0
Results of turn #3: The space marines hold their positions at their objectives. The dev squad opens fir on the closest wave serpent and roll an explodes result on the damage chart killing all but 3 of the dire avenger passengers. A tactical squad opens fire on the closest and last wave serpent. The squads missile launchers hits and achieves an explodes result on the damage chart killing all but 4 of the dire avenger passengers. The survivors of the wave serpents shoot and charge the closest squads. one squad charges the dev squad, and kills one marine before being overpowered by the rest of the dev squad. The other dire avenger squad charges the closest tac squad, contesting the objective and killing all but 4 of the marines, the tac squad loses combat but stays in the fight.

Objectives owned: Space Marines: 2 Eldar: 0
Results of turn #4: The dire avenger squad kills the tac squad in combat but then get killed by the charging dev squad. The immobilized war walker is turned into a wreck from the plasma fire of a tac squad and all but one of the last dire avengers are killed, he fails his moral check and starts to fall back. Th last war walker kills one member of a tac squad.
The dice is rolled and the game continues.

Objectives owned: Space Marines: 2 Eldar: 0
Results of turn #5: The space marine dev squad shoot and achieve an explodes results against the last war walker. The remaining eldar are out of range to both be shot at and to shoot. The eldar consents to defeat with only his farseer and a falling back dire avenger. POWER TO THE EMPEROR. The eldar will return to their craft world where they will plot a scheme to exact revenge on the space marine chapter. All in all the space marines had a lot of very lucky rolls and the eldar had a lot of terrible rolls.
