So between wanting to become a better artist and my debilitating Obsessive-compulsive design disorder I have continued to work on the tyranid painter to the detriment of any social life. ha!
So I thought I would ask for help again from some of the talented creators here on the Tyranid Hive. I got permission from Julio to use as an example and I was very happy with the way it is turning out so far.
So if you would like your conceptual work to be included in "the field guide to the great devourer" (online tyranid painter) please post your images here. A few guidelines first.
Posting an image here gives me permission to use the image in the painter where you will retain all rights to and be given full artistic credit for your work. Please include your name you would like the credit to go to. The example I used for Julio was "Tyranus renderings provided by magos initiate Julio before being consumed by Splinter Fleet Oda in the Musashi Sector". You can be as creative or not.
Posting an image here will not guarantee you a place in the painter. I am looking for artwork of high quality in terms of artistic skill, creativity and reproduction standards. Which includes the image posted here being of a resolution around 1000X1000 pixels that needs to be well captured by scanner or camera or whatever.
I will probably be asking for specific entries (ex Zoanthrope, psychic attack). If you have any questions just let me know here or through a PM. I would love to help any aspiring artists.
Peace Tomas...
Three images here. First one has cover of book, did a few days ago. Second shows a section with conceptual work and bunch of new eye candy and the third shows how the painter will actually look probably have the actually painter selection in the data slate who knows.
+++EDIT added 4th image which includes the last of the eye candy I am having for now, glasses, coins, tarot deck, messing with map fonts still dont know, this is where I want to have options for completed color schemes just dont know about interface still yet.
And added another page showing more things, trying to add some photo like reference. So if you can't draw but have good photography and diorama skills the same offer to be included applied to you as to the draftsmen and women.
