There were some interesting points in there. I think I'm starting to see some of what he was mentioning already with people I play. I'm not looking forward to having to shoehorn in clumps of hive guard again if it does go in that direction like he predicts. I was just starting to have fun killing dudes on foot

Ok, I lied: I watched/listened to the 30 minute video. I see it going between the two, but I'm not a doctor. I do think armor will make a comeback to some degree, because it's initial phase out is an overreaction to, in my opinion, going from overpowered to fairly balanced. I'm not convinced completely, but I see a lot of elements of better balance in this edition than I ever really can remember. I'm hoping this will lead to a better tactical game.

Logan Grimnar has a special rule that lets it confer Relentless to a unit that it's joined.

Incidentally I'd prefer facing a mechanized opponent with Tyranids in this edition, since vehicles are WS0 or WS1. Transports are easier to surround and destroy.

Heh... you're welcome, but I think you are in the wrong thread.

As for the OP; I have not watched the Vid yet, but I will repeat what I have said since the day 6E came out.

Vehicles are not 'dead'. In 5E transports were like mobile bunkers, they were a no brainer. Now transports are like.... transports. They still work to go fast, and as cheap ablative armor.

Running your 5E mech list in 6E is a good way to lose.... but that doesn't mean there isn't a place for mech at all.
