I like 4 units. Harpys are absolutly terrifying to an IG player, not just my epic model, but it takes out their infantry and tanks alike.
the next up is The Lictor. when he murders a thunderfire cannon that is tearing my trops to shreds, my enemy is rathere ****** off.
in second plalce is my genestealer brood. the best thing for Om Nom Noming space marines in a corner.
the last but not least, is the spore mine. I missed the space marines with the biovore, and when I placed the spore mine next to his squad his face looked like Luke skywalker's when he learned vader was his dad, and exclaimed WHAT IS THAT!!! lol best 40k moment ever.

^ this... is so true, just started converting mine now. looks pretty awesome if i do say so myself. I am not sure if I posted already but my favourite model is... well the favourite one that I have right now is my carnifex. I like the living battering ram. bye bye buildings, bye bye tanks... hello incredibly slow walk speed... still like it though.
I think that it should have a rule where you start your first turn off moving as the usual four, but then you continuously move longer distances each turn.

well, Hormagaunts and Termagants got me into the hobby, because as a young kid playing Lord of the Rings, and seeing the catalougue, i thought they looked like dinosaurs, and wanted them, and when i finally got a box of each at 20 (lol long wait) i thought they were epic. they are deffinately my favorite units in my collection to look at. HOWEVER, in gameplay, im going to have to say genestealers and broodlords, as i have frequently taken out 5 and 10 man terminator squads in one turn with these badboys, 3 attacks on the charge for the stealer, 5 for the broodlord, rerolling ones on to hit, rerolling failed wounds with toxin sacks, wounding on 4+ regardless (also with toxin sacks), and rending on 6 means for a lot of dead things

I'd have to say the Trygon/Mawloc kit is what got me into 40k. A kid on the bus showed me a figure from Warhammer Fantasy, I got curious, then I saw the Trygon.
"ASDFGHJKL Giant snake thing it's so beautiful LOOK AT THE TEETHS!!! <3"
Pretty much.
As I'm still just collecting models everything is based on looks so far. Warriors, the Tervigon, Zoanthropes... I like how most of our models look. The Lictors, Broodlords, and Deathleaper have great forms, I just don't like how they posed them. Even the Biovore is growing on me.
