Hi Newcomers, welcome to the Hive.
@ Atlantiss. Sorry to hear that, but you've come to the right place. 
Best thing you can do is post in the tactics section, your list, normal plan of attack, enemies you normally encounter.
And with a few hours (or days, it's busy on the hive with the coming of 6th edition), you'll get a response with tips and tricks. We have a lot of succesful players here.

Hi everyone,
I'm a long time wargamer who have had a bit of a break (many many years) from the hobby. I just picked it up again and was instantly drawn to the Hive. I'm now trying to figure things out, get my swarm ready, and crush some space marines!

Wanted to say hello. Decided to get back into wargaming after many years... (read as 6) of being away. I haven't started my army yet, but I am very much set on the Hive. I'm more of a painter than an actual gamer/battler, but I'm interested in both sides.

I'm not new to tyranids (only in vassal (50+ games for them (5Th edition rulebook)) and warhammer universe.
In real life i am only beginning to collect them.

I normally play WoC in fantasy but someone was kind enough to give me a large force of Tyranid for 40k so here i am.

My name is Katu (pronounced k-2) and I just joined today. I've been reading around on the boards for about a week.
My friend and I are starting Warhammer for the first time. I've got my army list put together, and I'll be ordering my new guys today! I have finished reading the codex and I have a vague idea on the rules. Hopefully my list does OK!

Hey all long time WHF player here, recently got a 40k Demo and would like to start Tyranids. Love the models and although I know nothing of fluff really in 40k yet, I usually make my army decisions based on what I think looks cool/be fun to paint.
Looking forward to reading some posts on the forum and getting an idea of where to start! I figure this is a good time though with the new Ed.
