Hello everybody.
I've been lurking around this forum for a few years now and finally thought "why now make an account?"

I have played nidz for about five years now (maybie six, or even seven. kinda lost track).
My fleet consists of about 4k+ points of Hive fleet Behemoth and I have never, and most likely never will, play any other army.
I'm not very much into turnaments, but I regularily play against Eldar, Daemons, C Marines and Space Wolves.

Why do I play nidz? I think it's the army who fits my Norwegian viking ancestors the best.(Guess that would actually be Dark eldar, but tyranids are more awsome)

greetings fellow hivelings!

been 2 years since playing the game, and even longer since I last felt the presence of the hive mind. Have recently come back to game, and have started with a Hive Tyrant. So, with that said, the hive has recalled the dragos splinter fleet!

hello hive.

I came here some time back in the thought that I was going to start with tyranids. then i realised i had more to do with my TK but now i'm back and bought a battle force resently so now there is no turning back

Hi thought I would say hello I'm about to start building a Tyranid Fleet of my own and wanted to share my progress and get some help on the way. I currently play GK's and CSM and wanted a complete change and a new challenge and found this site and had to say how great a site and resource it is cant wait to get started on my Tyranids

Hi Nathanclone.
Actually it's a smart move to wait for a few weeks to buy stuff. The 6th edition rulebook will be out in a short time. And that may or may not change what are good units.

So, if you didn't buy an army yet, wait with it. (Although, Termagants, Hormagaunts and stealers will always be good as they are our most common Troop choices)

Greetings fellow gribblers! I'm Pip from the UK, drummer and nid obsessive. Currently sat at around 11k/12k points worth with only 9 mcs I'm a huge fan of the swarm. Although my "to paint" pile is growing at an alarming rate! I've been playing 40k from the original Rougue Trader days (approx 24 years) and have always had a love for all things Genestealer and heavy metal. Looking forward to getting to know some of you fiends and will post some pics of my pet gribblies when I get chance!

Could somebody please tell me how to change the icon (folder) that is in front of the board to another image. The Tyranid Hive [this forum] uses a Carnifex as board symbol. Please, tell me how i can change it on my forum.
