Hey people this is my first post
Heres my swarmlord based on the image in the codex it just uses basic tyrant body and plasticard for the bonesabres.

the birthing chamber is easy, and people usually have all the bits for it. I used the trygon body, but you can use the carnifex body and it fits the same way.
- it's one of the left over front halves of a ravener chest (if you baught a box of raveners, you'll have plenty!). It's positioned with the lower part of the rav chest fitting in the collar bone of the fex/trygon body.
- then, to get that rib-bursting feel, mawloc jaws on each side.
- I stuffed a small adrenal gland to help bring down the neck-line, I think that it kind of looks like an adams apple, haha. but it looked fine without it.
- at the back of the chamber, the neck of the ravener body, i transitioned that down with some extra plates I had laying around, i think both came from the warrior kit or monster sprue. meh, you'd likely have these laying around. there is also a spike from the fex kit pointing backwards, to keep with the spiky look.
- but i did have an alternate plan for the back end of the birthing chamber.... tubes going to the hips of the tervigon, which would have some sacks of some sort, maybe a few spider bodys from the goblin spider riders, they look armored and tyranid egg like. everytime i go to my flgs, I eye the kit, one day i'll buy it and see if it looks cool.
- just had another thought, you could put a trygon chest plate over the ravener body too, might work, but will definetly get the chest to hand lower. could solve the little issue of the ravener chest plates going in the wrong direction, if you chose the chest with the plates like I did. I wonder what it would look like with the trygon adrenal chest there. hmmmm, i know what im doing when i get home, hahaha.
I've since magnetized his base and some gants to a trygon base, I use the termies as wound counters and pluck them off as the terv loses wounds, lol.
