It's me again, so that means an update
What I got is that I finished the arms for the Carnifex, I think they could use a bit more highlighting but maybe I'll do that when I decide to pretty much re-paint all my old nids, don't know when that'll be.
Not really much but here it is

I also started the base for this diorama, I mentioned earlier that I'll try out miniwargamming's crashed meteor technique to get some skid marks and an uneven ground kind of base.
I used a bunch of old CD's stacked to make this base and used tape to smooth the edge.

As you can see I've put some debris where the ripped area is, I plan to have some black fuel flowing onto the ground where the pipes are.
And something I did today, I started work on my second winged warrior and battle suit scene, this one has the battle suit's chest ripped open.
Cut open the chest

And I hit my first problem with this scene. I initially wanted to have an interior made with a pilot sitting in it, but the cavity is just too small. I was thinking about making a GS pilot sitting in there but I realized it would be a midget tau pilot so I was like "(please do not swear) what should I do". I was about to make a thread about what I should do and took pictures of the size of the hole with a fire warrior head and torso in it, then I realized what if I just made the head poke out of the hole, and then bam, I solved the problem. Not only did it solve the problem of having to make a pilot, now I don't need to make an interior since it takes up the entire space, and then I found out the pilots probably pilot the suit laying down since there is a hatch on the back of the suit which they crawl in.
WIP pictures - It's pretty much half done

The warrior should be easy to do, I don't think I'll need to do any arm or leg cuts since it looks pretty good already, I could paint him up tomorrow or I could paint up the carnifex base since it should be dry by tomorrow since I put it in front of the heater
