"Hey...brought back some toys...carved a path straight to Designated Area 31...the forest back that way." Tyrin said walking into camp and hiking a thumb over his shoulder. He saw the nervous look on some faces, "What did i miss?" He said looking around.

Sammael looked at Nix as he calmly answered the young man's words. "Nix, you should not ask questions you do not want the answer to. I will however say this much, I do not at least intend to perform soul magic, however if I have picked up the necessary knowledge to do that somewhere or not I will leave unanswered.". Having answered that Sammael turned to Tyrin next. "I caught a would be assassin and got him to tell us some things. Apparently what should be pretty much every human mage, four of them, have allied themselves with both a dunmen and a vvaasaadoori team and it seems like they intended to take us down."
OOC: Just so you know valentine, Sammael never intended to use any soul magic, that part was merely a threat, he would however had used torture if need be.

Torak stay sat, Svetlena wasn't responding, she was either shocked or in deep thought. Perhaps what she knew was confirmed.
After hearing Sammael speak he whistle to Seta, speaking quietly in wolf speak.
"If these are the right kind of mages we may be able to satisfy the shadow, keep him quiet during the new moon." Seta confirmed this, his knowledge of Torak was as deep as Toraks own, he was part of the seal after all.
Torak then called to Sammael ,"You didn't happen to catch the lore of these mages did you?" His voice hopeful.

Sammael turned his head toward Torak as he answered. "This one was a jack-of-all-trades, however the tricks he used were advanced. We should be ready for anything but they probably have one death mage and one shadow mage, or somebody who can use both kinds though that is highly unlikely." Sammael said as he walked away from the corpse. As he passed Torak Sammael whispered quietly "You smell of dark arts, did something happen to you? Even if it is as old as it smells I might be able to help you.".

Ooc- Ive been waiting on You guys really. Not much for Nix to do.
Ic- Nix nodded silently towards Sammael and shrugged, Going back to his cookery. "Need to get a movd on furst. Hollows swamp isnt the nicest place to spend the hunt. Solfyre desert is to the nirth, and Blackroot forest is east a ways. West is much much more Swamp, though it gets wetter and wetter s gou aproach the White Ocean. And south is a straight shot at the Kilnash Tundra."

"Dammit," Torak thought ,"Wrong mage, its going to be a harsh new moon." The shadow fed off of the light, light mages. Already he could hear him laughing, occasionally sneering in wolfspeak ,"say goodbye to the half breed." He felt fearful, 3 days and he couldn't be controlled.
Sammael whispered to him, breaking his thoughts. He replied normally, "It is beyond your ability, anyone's control." Before standing up, walking towards the rising sun. He muttered to Nix, "Douse that fire, try and cover our presence, I'd rather not be on the receiving end of a dual-mage." He whistled to Seta and continued towards the forest.

Nix shrugged and waved a hand the fire. The Flames leapt to life, Flying into his palm, before fading away into his gauntlet. He put his hands in the Ash, rubbing it over his xliak; as well as twigs, mud and syuch, creating Camoflague. Then he kicked thw ash around a bit. Itvwas dark now, and the campsite looked weeks old. Nix nodded at his work. "Probably good enough. Could be a ground surveyors campsite from befire the hunt.

"So lets get to the forest guys, i carved a path straight to the boundary line. It's our best bet..." Tyrin said shouldering his rifle and looking in that direction he waited to see everyone else's reaction. He sat down again for a quick moment, digging through his bag and pulling out a ration bar and chewing it slowly.
(Sorry its short im dealing with last minute college registration and class stuff)

Svetlana seemed to break from whatever she was thinking rising up besides Torak. Her wings had shuddered for a moment sending light dancing over the others as she stood up. "Let us hunt some mages then." she commented in a thoughtful tone. She looked at Torak again then to Seta.
She quickly scaled a tree moving after Tyrin. She'd heard tell of this before...Torak's....kind. The light clan library wasn't open to outsiders...and even members of it's hallowed halls rarely delved as deep into it as she had been able to. She'd read the legends and the fairy tales alike..but she'd always hoped that they weren't true. But she could see even as she paused on a branch just ahead of Torak and looked at him...they were not only true...but very real. And Torak had been disappointed to hear the kind of mages...which could mean only one thing...
She was flitting along through the trees as she returned to moving after Tyrin. 3 days....suddenly she felt as if the light was closing in around her. It was too bright. Her vision was getting spotty again and she heard a voice mid leap. She reached for a branch catching it just in time to avoid the fall. "Svetlana you've forgotten me..." she let go landing knee deep in swamp water. She groaned in disgust as she moved forward in the sludge climbing out on a log and then returning to the trees. "Svetlana..." she turned towards the voice. She listened again hearing the same teasing musical female voice...she turned off of Tyrin's path leaping through the trees herself after it. "where are you..." she muttered disappearing from the others deep into the foliage the sound of her boots crunching against branches fading.

Torak crouched down to speak to Seta, not far as the wolf was fairly tall. "How far to the quarry?" The wolf eyes still fixated on their path replied ,"30minutes from here, expect heavier resistance, along with Shadow." Torak nodded ,"bullets won't be quite as effective here, no matter." He said pulling his knife and glancing down at it, before looking up seeing Svetlena up in the canopy. "Why up there," he thought until she turned off the path, as if pursuing something. He rolled his eyes sighing and began jogging along the floor. Accidently sinking a foot into the mire. He'd be much happier in the forest, it was less wet. He knew Seta would be thinking the same.
There was still some light in the sky, but the moon was visible. Its deep white crescent still strong but slowly fading, waning as the power of the new moon began to submerge it in shadow. R days...

Nix followed close behind Torak, keeping up easily with some machines built into.his boots and clothes, Essentially giving him wings. He was also very quiet, And his yellow eyes seemed dulled in the night. "Whaddya see?" He whispered to Torak.

Torak stopped dead, as did Seta. The wolf then whispered to Nix in plain Wolfspeak, "3 magic users, 5 forhman. One death, one shadow and one.." Seta seemed to pull back as if he just sniffed ammonia. "One unknown." Torak kneeled pulling his rifle around his chest, slowly pulling the bolt back till it clicked soundlessly. Raising it till the scope was at eye level and peered through. The scope came to rest over a a Forhman, he could pick out the mages but one bullet wouldn't likely kill them. "They are trying to surprise us, go for Forhman, leave the mages to Seta, Svetlena and Sammael," Seta had already run off, and was now stalking through the undergrowth, the shadow mage's throat reflecting in his grey eyes. Despite his intelligence his bestial instincts were urging him to taste blood but he managed to keep them in check, waiting for Toraks shot.

"Engaging the Death upfront is not the best idea. I'll squeeze off an extra round for him...."Tyrin said prepping his rifle, it was fully loaded and ready to go, he tossed the shadows around himself and prepared for the shot. "On my mark...he said waiting for everyone to get into position, the camp was dead quiet and peaceful as the people in it sat around a fire. "This is to easy....way to easy..."

Nix made a head motion that almost indicated a frown. "There has to be some sort of catch. 5 Fohrman, the chances are at least 3 of them are Techicians or engineers. Theres bound to be... Yes. There." Nix guestured to.the ground around tge group. In a perfect radius around on of the Forman, Theres was a circle on the ground, barely visible, but the sliced in two keaves and circle of undisturbed ground indicated a Forhman Pariah Field. "Anti magic, bullet protection. Tough to get through."

Moments before Svetlana had come to a stop away from her group. She'd found the source of the voice...or rather voices. She stood over a sunny clearing looking down at a pool of water glistening. Women stood beside it...one was..."Mom!" she said leaping down and running towards her. The woman turned smiling at her "My dear...you've finally made it....we haven't much time...your friends are about to step into a trap...You have left the light...."Svetlana hadn't even realized she was crying as her mother's arms pulled her into a hug, "You grew dark and angry because of your father and siblings...but the light clan can not continue to fade out as we have....you must return them to their former glory..." she was sobbing "I can't....that is the way things have always been." the other women smiled. "We can help you...but first you must be cleansed..." she was dragged forward into the water. Without realizing it she was pushed under...she sank for several moments...it was like nothing she'd ever been through.
Seconds later she gasped as she surfaced her hair having turned to pure white...and her golden eyes having faded to a pure light yellow. Only her mother stood before her smiling. "You know what you must do." Svetlana nodded rising out of the water. "Good I will be with you...my dear child." She watched her mother fade into a white light sphere which seconds later moved forward into her chest momentarily shocking her...then she stood up glancing to her left. "There." She took off running.
Just as their shots rang out bouncing off the shield Svetlana came lunging out dragging her blade across the line severing it. She stood her white hair dripping wet looking ready for a fight, "Lets dance." she said poiting at the mage of death. It wasn't just a challenge...it was a promise. She leapt at him dodging two of the others and landing before him her blade whistling outwards for his head.
