still kinda choppy... but practice makes perfect. Next experiment will be Hive Guard... then I shall repaint my trygon. Finially when I am pleased with the blending, I shall paint my dusty ol' Swarmlord who has been sitting unassembled on my desk for 2 months or so, now.

it's fun how a kit can be old and dusty by just being there for two months, haha. but i like the tyrant, i like the scheme and the carapace are nicely blended

Don't you worry about the dust though. I have most of my Lizardmen having been seated in their nice little pockets of my carriage for 3 years. And those are just fine!

Yeah, my trygon was in the same boat as my Swarmy. Only he sat on the desk for 5 months. He still isn't complete. He needs the smaller set of leg/arm/talon things. Not to mention I am thinking about redoing him entirely.

Nice work, I like the effect on the carapace and color shifting on the lash whip. Good work on the skin as well.
