I also forgot that the models only came out in march XD So physically impossible for him to have started in feb. GOing to need to somehow make my guys stand out. Then again so far its some of my best work so..idk what else to do to make them epic!

Base like you've never based before! There's plenty to add to ~~a tyranid~~ any model (

) with the base.

nooooooo sorry guys but i only finnished 12 genestealers and 5 gaunts so I dont think I will make it with so much work and exams coming up. But since I'm stating a new tyranid army maybe in say 2 competions after this i will be ready to entire in the contest sorry and good luck to everyone else.

Only done 6 so far, just need to finish the iris and seal it. Then on to Windowmakers....also Ill update photos when I finish sealing them.

So I have recently started, I have a group shot of my gargoyles undercoated.
Half of them are now finsihed and the other half are well on their way.
I'll update this when I get home tonight.
I am waiting on my Battleboxes to arrive and next up will be my Termagents.
When you say that if you complete 400 points you automatically get the award, I assume that means 400 painting points, and not 400 points of models

It must be super hard to qualify for that.

Actually, the Swarmlord badge is for 400 CODEX points of models. As long as those models also total 20 competition points.

Also, the Swarmlord badge is not the winner of the competition. The winner is someone who completed 20 competition points who is voted as the best painted for the two month period.

So, here is my progress on the gargoyles: not too much as you can see. Actually, it's a little better than that, the bases are all done (not shown). I painted the bases separately and then glued the clear poles on them.

The reason I'm posting is to show I'm actually working on them. I've also started working a lot more and it's starting to get a little crazy (getting married in 2 months), but I am trying to keep posting here to give myself further incentives for painting!

I also found out that one of my friends is getting back in town from deployment overseas soon and I would like to play some (fully painted up) Warmachine with him, so I'll be working on some Warmachine again. I'll be painting up a character unit: The Great Bears of Gallowswood.

Also, I don't think I posted my total progress: 7 competition points, each model so far is small based.
1 War Dog
4 Winter Guard Infantry, plus 1 Officer and 1 Standard Bearer

Good job, Rathpex. I find yellow difficult to pull off well, so I usually limit it to a small section of models for specific details. You pull it off quite well and it takes guts to attempt it as a major color.
