Alright for those who have been following my project log, then you know I've been painting my Trygon and got side tracked with making her super guns and doing other stuff, but I've finally finished painting her. Now I'm just waiting for a Tau stealth team I've ordered to arrive and then I'll base her.
Here are some pictures
Everything is magnetized so it can be easily transported
I admit the carapace is not stellar, but I was forced to decide to either have my normal carapace pattern of stripes and potentially cover up all those little rough detail things on the carapace or just dry brush the carapace to bring out the roughness of the carapace. Though I think the carapace of the torso could use a bit more dry brushing to make it lighter.
In all I'd say to took about 36 hours to do everything, every post I made on my project log I'd say was about 4-5 hours of work, so here is the break down
3 hours - Cleaning, magnetizing, pinning
1 hour - Hand prime black
4 hours - Head painted
4 hours - Small arms painted
4 hours - Medium arms painted
4 hours - Large arms painted
4 hours - Tail painted
4 hours - Lower body painted
4 hours - Upper body painted
4 hours - Carapace painted
This does not include the time making those 2 super gun either.
