I don't know if this belongs here under trades but I'm a beginning commissioning army painter (you probably read my paint posts in the Painting section-I have now switched from Citadel to Reaper paint and LOVE IT). I am a pro-painter by trade as far as murals, larger scale resin kits, models, and statues go, but I want to go smaller and since I love the nids and have done them plenty before, I'll start here.
Here is a brief sample of my work: www.furaffinity.net/view/2140377/#cid:15549713 from my old original Hive Fleet Zymosis. I got nice pics of it this time as compared to when I've posted this before.
I treat every figure equally (with a greater attention to detail on larger figures of course), and don't believe in the "It's Just a Gaunt" syndrome. I want them all to look excellent and a bit above regular tabletop quality. I don't believe in DIPPING and I never EVER use this method and none of my work will ever look close to being dipped. (Not that dipping is wrong...I just prefer not to charge for hand-done eyeballed work and then sell a quickly-made figure anyone can do for the same price as pro-work). I assemble, file, and pose uniquely, sparing no time expense to heat the plastic to achieve the look.
I don't have a web site up yet but my basic cost is $10 per gaunt, $12 per genestealer, $20 per warrior/guard/zoan/Rav, $75 per Carnifex/Tyrant. I throw in rippers for free and also hand-painting stripes or other designs. I LOVE painting figures like beatles, spiders, crabs, butterflies, and moths...there's so much variety in the animal kingdom and so much you can do!
If interested, let me know. My email is Watergazer@Comcast.net and I work on a signed contractual basis, so enjoying your completed army is 100% guaranteed.
