To think of these creatures as beasts is a grave mistake. We have observed thier vanguard organisms herd pray like cattle into the path of the main swarms. These creatures have shown evidence of a tactical acumen that speaks of a far worse threat than that posed by a mere beast... |

The only things you really need to know- Devourers are a monstrous creatures best friend. Rending Claws are everything else's best friend. Except Gaunts, they don't live long enough to make friends

Hi, I'm called BigBug on this board, the name seemed to fit. Been lurking for a couple of months and decided to join up. Been playing bugs for a few years, started them with last edition but they really came into there own this edition. So far, out of all my different armies the Bugs are by far the must fun to play.

Hi All, I'm the creator of Hivefleet Necromoth. Just needed to join after reading some of the posts. Curious if my ideas on Tyranids fit in or if I totally missed the point. I will soon find out. Feels good being here. Finally a board which is open to new entries. Regards Henk

Who cares if your ideas fit in. You'll tell us your ideas and we'll all debate them. Weather or not you convince us of your idea or we convince you (or if nobody convinces anybody) is up to how good the idea is. It's not like we're going to send the tyranid hive death squad after you if your idea isn't any good.

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile This day shall gentle his condition: And gentlemen in England, now a-bed Shall think themselves accursed they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day. |

Well of course not. A single Lictor would suffice!
Anyway, welcome to the Hive, Necromoth. You'll find that the people here are very nice and will listen to your ideas.

Edit- Wait, don't tell me. Unobserved store kid.

Someone threw some over on the floor and his friend decided -somewhat clumsy- to step on them...

While I do not agree with gamers who think kids should stay out of the hobby, I have to admit that that is a problem.
They come into the store expecting to play with all those fun-looking toy soldiers they see in the window. They expect the models to be just like the normal pieces of plastic they play with all day and without asking permission they pick them up and smash them into each other (and invariably they always pick up the biggest, best painted, or most expensive one). And then when you tell them how expensive it was, all they can say is "Oops..." while their parents have a minor heart attack from the embarrassment of it all.
They cause all of that damage and you can't even blame them because they don't understand what they did wrong.
I'll stop now, I am starting to rant and hijack the thread....

i think kids should join the hobby if they know what they are doing. ( Like me, and quite a few of us, actually.)
