Bases - Secret weapon

Hey guys, Deadlink97 here.

I was wondering about Secrt weapon the website that sells modeling bases and other stuff.( look at the link urban streets bases, urban invasion and urban rubble or you wont understand this thread).

I had a look at these and I really liked them it would cost me $96 excluding postage ( I assume I could have them posted togetherr or something) to base 16 genestealers, 12 termigaunts, 6 warriors, 2 hive guard/2 zoans and 2 trygons. I would also end up with 2 carnifex bases and 2 25mm bases spare.

First of all do you think it would be worth it buying these ( urban rubble set of five 40mm, urban invasion full set, urban streets 25mm set of 10 and two urban invasion 120mm bases) bases for my tyranids.

Also if I did buy these how would I put my nids on them because as I remeber it the trygons tail is flat and I couldnt possibly put it on jaggered bits of resin and not expect people to see its underside. And how would I put my stealer/termies they have plastics slots made for them in the citadel bases. Any ideas????

Also I found some on ebay 39 bases for something i dont know how much as it is from the uk, but maybe I could save soem money on that.

I think your best bet with the trygon would be to fill in the gaps with greenstuff so as to give the appearance of a round tail.
As for the slot based guys, you could cut off the bar and greenstuff the gaps or make a flat foot on the ground for the jumpers. That's the first solution I can think of for these problems.

Try pinning them in too, I personally know that it's really annoying when the superglue shatters with accidental drops, and the model comes off the base

I use secret weapon bases for my nid army and absolutely love them. The quality of the bases is excellent. Ive so far ordered over 24x 40mm bases and i havent found a single air bubble so far. Also their delivery is timely and customer service is great. I strongly recommend them.
