Signals was beginning to get really paranoid, His Shurikens were coming further out of the pouch as the bear moved closer. His wrist clicked twice and his strong muscles were perfectly poised to fling the shuriken through the air and slice all the way through the bears jugular. "Don't tempt me." Signals was also annoyed at the sight of a beastman. His memories of civil war still ran through his mind.

A small smile appeared on Golen's face. "Perhaps," he replied to Kali'naj. To the assasin: "I doubt the bear would let you. And shuriken are for killing humans. It won't go through the bear's skin. Especially not on this island."

"my sword can go through his skin." Leon said through a tree hole that caused his voice to spread out evenly leaving it hard to track him...

Kali'naj met blades with Leon suddenly, calling, "Put down your sword, human."

Leon suddenly turned to water. slithering away in many different directions. "fast you are, but not able to easily defeat water." Leon says making his water from go around Kali'naj's feet then solidifying into ice. "I'll let you know you can't break ice with a blade. i should know." he said.

Signals was annoyed at Golens attitude and rather then waste a shuriken, he leap back wards and while balancing on a single foot he strung his bow and fired a single arrow at the bear, the shot peirced it's shoulder, The arrow was made of several shards of flint layered to make a peircing arrowhead. Upon impact the flint layers spread, sending paper thin blades through the bears body. He leapt and ran in a circling motion keeping his eye on the wounded bear. Another shot whizzed through the air, this time hitting the bears back leg. He held his bow ready to fire another shot at the bear, his lower arms still held the shurikens, with a single flick of the wrist he could end Golen's life.

Golen gave a sad smile. "Do it." He said. He sent out magic, healing the bear and telling him to leave. It objected to leaving him in the face of danger, but Golen sent him away, forcefully.

"Stop with your witchery, vile animal man!" He clicked several times during this sentance, unnerving the shaman. He held his bow steady and continued to back away. "I will not hesitate to kill you, unless you tell me the meaning of your trespassing." The 'S' sound was long drawn out in the last word, as if Signals was stammering.

Dianten had been watching the beastmen for a while. His figure stepped out from behind the trees at the edge of the clearing. He approached the pair and watched as a bear limped off towards the forest "Why heal the bear?" he questioned as his soft eyes seemed to glow.
Sword at his belt and staff in hand he seemed to float across the grass landscape towards the two "That may have been a meal for this..." he studied the insectile creature "creature.." he finished slowly.

Kali'naj stabbed his blades into the ice around his feet, and shouted at Leon, "My blades may not break the ice, but the warmth of the living world will!". His blades seemed to suddenly glow white-hot, and the ice started to melt. He lifted one foot free and leapt at Leon, slashing and hacking at him with his blades.

"You say that, and yet you still have not fired?" He told the insect, keeping calm. He spun towards Dianten. "He was hurt protecting me. Why would I not heal him?" He said as a staff seemed to materialize in his hand. He wondered what would happen if he turned his back on the insect, but to late to worry now. "Everyone, please calm down." He spoke to the four travelers. "There is no need for blood to be shed on this hallowed ground."

Kali'naj listened to Golen, and put away his blades. He put out a taloned hand, extending it to Leon in a gesture of friendship, or at least of greeting. "It makes me sad that we meet in such conditions, friend."

OOC: LewisC was one of the first to post his character template, flick back to the first page.
Upon seeing the beastman turn, he simply leapt away into the forest, keeping a keen eye on things in absolute stealth. The sun was beginning to arc across the sky now, in it's wake three moons followed, each casting a slightly different colour glow on the ground, The island wasn't totally dark yet, but it was nearing evening.

The mind mage sighed, how could such conflict turn into a friend like state. He had gotten slightly angry at this, he was having fun watching the conflict that had now been stopped. His spare hand reached down to his waist and the sword of asyuran was drawn. It glowed violently as if it where infested by a demon of some sorts. The sword was lowered and pointed at the beastman as the insectile creature had fled "Vile shaman, you think that being kind can solve everything?!" he seemed to shout, only a projection of himself in his mind, he was actually speaking extremely calmly "You and you're nature magic!" he spat on the floor next to Golen. "Its not real magic, you should be ashamed..." he sheathed his sword and yawned. Diaten turned towards the direction at which the insectile beastman had fled to and began walking in search of him "No need to fight you, it'd only be unfair.."
