I find it quite funny the necrons have this awesome av11 flyer with aerial assault and super sonic. And it's so cool, that marines HAVE to get one too. I really REALLY want to use the death ray to Toast marines. I love doing that.

And I find it funny the number of armies that have flyers now. I really agree with FW in that they really should have their own set of rules apart from skimmers- they just aren't the same.

They don't hate them. It's just that the (sub-par) codex didn't sell well, so they aren't making models. There's no new models, so people aren't buying them (or codices to use the cool new models with). It's not hate, just a casual disinterest. Thanks Again, Cruddy!

And when they release the doomscythe, they should include speakers for the models so the sound its engines make kill you.

Not that I'm bothered by it's disgustingly absurd codex entry...

Also, does it seem weird that the space marines are getting that many fliers? I got the impression form the last four editions and twenty years of fluff that they were more about tanks and infantry dropped form space, not glorious airstrikes and flight of the valkyries moments...

Maybe I just got them confused with the Elysians.

Damn the rules. This looks like the Summer of Fliers that was meant to happen last year. I'd buy a Harpy whatever (unless is looked crap, of course).

They could at least have the courtesy to release one of our larges models. It took so long for the Terv/Tyranno/Swarm to be released, and people still think that they had a finished kit for ages, just delayed the release.

If they release one now, I guarantee most of you would buy one. Hell, I thought most of you hated the Tyranno, but there are plenty of THOSE around.

One day we'll get it... one day...

I actually don't mind the rules, especially considering that 6th edition is around the corner and they'll change then anyway.
As usually I see the most potential in converting when new models come out...
