So tyranids turn everything into biomass and then make new tyranids from it. Well imagine this. Say all of this happens but within the biomass are gene-seeds of Space Marines. When the Norn-queens are turning the biomass into new tyranids the gene-seeds start interfering with this process. The result is a fully armed Space Marine but with defects and mutations of a tyranid. They are the ultimate killing machines.
This is the basis of my Space Marine chapter i am creating. they are like the Legion of the Damned and show up where needed. but unlike the LotD they are growing in numbers and the first one to appear was Tyranus Balkor. Part of a Deathwatch kill team sent aboard a Tyranid vessel during the battle against hive fleet Behemoth. He told his squad leader to retreat the rest of the squad while he used his jump pack to go and plant explosives to destroy the ship. As the rest of his squad retreated the ship went into warp. Tyranus's status on his teams HUD showed as KIA for two hours then suddenly went back on as fully operational. A brief message and video were sent to the Kill team. The voice message which sounded like Tyranus but different said "Objective complete. Location... Andromeda Galaxy. Do not send support." The video started with a bright explosion then as the HUD camera on Tyranus's helmet turned it showed masses of gaunts, genestealers, and other tyranid attrocities approaching. Tyranus charged into these masses with a fearless resolve and tore everything in his sight limb from limb. He had on his left hand a lightning claw reinforced with what seemes like tyranid armor plating and on his right hand were two tyranid scythes coming out of his fist making it the equivalent of a lightning claw. The video suddenly cut off right after Tyranus had jumped off a the claw of a Carnifex that he had just dodged and was lunging claws first into the beast's head." Since that time numerous incursions from Space Marines with tyranid defects have been reported. These marines have said to have been fighting with such ferocity that demons would have feared them. Especially in battles against Tyranids, Chaos, and Necrons.
